“I stated: ‘When you’re ready, because that’s a difficult moment, visit the White House. We’re going to pay tribute to her,” the president addressed the press. “And similarly with Andrew, recover or not.”
Community Support
Attendees came together over the weekend at the high school in the state to honor Beckstrom.
Both they had been fulfilling duties with the West Virginia National Guard as part of Trump’s national effort to support policing efforts in the capital.

“Sarah was the individual that educators wished for. She conducted herself with quiet strength, a contagious smile and a upbeat demeanor that inspired people around her,” Hankins, the principal of her former high school, stated to the Associated Press. “She was sweet, caring and always ready to assist people.”
Memorial plans for Beckstrom are still being arranged.
Judicial Measures and Policy Adjustments

The event led the administration to pause asylum applications and temporarily stop providing visas to possessors of Afghan passports.
Status of Wolfe
Andrew Wolfe, a resident of the city, began his service in 2019 and is a graduate of Musselman High, according to the AP.
He is still undergoing care and is “fighting for his life”, the state’s governor the governor stated on Fox News Channel’s The Sunday Briefing.
The state’s top lawyer Bondi told a news show that she aimed to meet with the family.

“She had a lot of compassion and she absolutely had bravery,” he told the audience at the memorial. “Though her time lasted far too short, she has created a legacy that’s going to endure.”
